***THIS IS A PART TIME POSITION***
Job Title:
 Parking Lot Sweeper (Night Shift)
Schedule: Overnight Part-time. 2 days per week. 
Rate of Pay: $20-$22 
Location: Plainwell/ Kalamazoo/ Battle Creek area
Join a dedicated team committed to maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments for commercial, industrial, and municipal properties. As a Parking Lot Sweeper Operator, you will play a vital role in ensuring that parking lots and outdoor paved areas are free of debris and hazards. This position offers the opportunity to work independently, operate specialized equipment, and contribute to the overall appearance and safety of the properties served. If you are reliable, detail-oriented, and enjoy working outdoors, this could be the perfect fit for you.

Responsibilities
  • Operate parking lot sweeping trucks and related equipment safely and efficiently
  • Perform manual lot cleanup using blowers and other tools as needed
  • Sweep parking lots, roadways, sidewalks, and other paved areas according to established schedules
  • Remove debris such as dirt, gravel, leaves, trash, and other materials from assigned areas
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of sweeping equipment
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks, including checking fluids and cleaning filters
  • Follow assigned routes, service instructions, and job schedules
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies
  • Maintain accurate service logs and inspection records
  • Report equipment issues or site concerns to supervisors promptly
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Provide professional customer service when interacting with clients or property managers
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Valid driver’s license (CDL may be required depending on equipment)
  • Experience operating industrial or commercial equipment preferred
  • Ability to work night shifts, early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while operating equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and climb in and out of equipment
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons
Work Environment
  • Outdoor work environment with exposure to noise, dust, and weather conditions
  • Overnight position with typical hours between 9pm and 8am
