Internship The intern will work under supervision to assist with synthetic chemistry projects, utilize analytical techniques, perform general organic synthesis of target compounds, and help with shipping and laboratory upkeep.

Qualifications B.S. or pursuing a B.S. with some prior research experience in organic chemistry or other chemistry related field. Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the US. Job Duties

  • Work under supervision in the assistance of synthetic chemistry projects.
  • Purification and isolation of organic molecules, including flash chromatography and Combiflash.
  • Perform upkeep and logging of instrumentation.
  • Modify reaction conditions in accord with visual observations to allow rapid, successful production of target compounds.
  • Provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.
  • Provide accurate and contemporaneous notebook recording.
  • Assist with the packing, shipping, and labeling of general shipments.
