You will be a Research Analyst, part of a team conducting comprehensive Socio-Cultural and Human Terrain geospatial related research and in-depth writing on complex topics either independently or as part of a larger analytical effort. Responsibilities: * Research, compile, and structure multiple forms of geospatial information in order to develop responses to a wide range of complex, open-source intelligence and geospatial taskings; evaluates correctness/accuracy of researched material.
* Assist in the review and quality control process of geospatial information designed for use in subsequent intelligence projects.
* Assists with periodic and special analytic reports, plans, and briefings.
* Will use multi-INT data resources and their collection methods for incorporation into the team's production process.
* Maintain awareness of global geopolitical affairs and noteworthy events. Preferred Qualifications: * Basic knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and applications such as ArcGIS 10.X and its component extensions.
* Experience with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and/or Illustrator software.
* Possess excellent command of the English language, especially the rules of syntax, punctuation, and grammar.
* Advanced skills in use of Microsoft office software packages on a personal computer (PC) platform (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to break down complex problems or concepts.
