Job Description
The Summer Inter will assist the Project Managers in the day-to-day duties of executing a project.
Work may include understanding process requirements of the customer, performing engineering
design calculations for various components of a project, generation and review of design drawings,
preparation of equipment and product specifications for bid and purchase, and maintenance of
project files. Work often requires verbal and written interface with coworkers in a team environment.
Research & Development:
Assisting Research Engineers or Research Chemists in laboratory analysis and pilot plant data
acquisition for various types of evaporation or crystallization processes. Work may include
monitoring laboratory testing equipment, obtaining and analyzing data, performing engineering
design calculations, and development of laboratory test protocols.
Qualifications
The candidate must have completed their junior year prior to internship and must be working toward
a degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering. Candidates must possess excellent verbal and
written communication skills and computer literacy
