Job OverviewLooking for dependable individuals who want to get to work right away. This is a no interview position with an immediate start on a construction project at an industrial facility. The project involves assisting with the removal and demolition of industrial racking systems inside the facility. This is a hands-on role requiring the use of basic hand and power tools, material handling, and general labor support. This project is expected to last approximately 6 weeks. Candidates who demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability, and construction aptitude will have the opportunity to continue working on future construction projects with the company after completion.
Responsibilities
- Remove and disassemble industrial racking systems
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Carry, move, and organize materials throughout the project site.
- Assist crew members with demolition and general labor tasks.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Follow all site safety policies and procedures.
- Work closely with supervisors and team members to keep the project on schedule.
- Perform other general construction labor duties as assigned.
Required Skills- Previous construction, demolition, warehouse, or general labor experience preferred.
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
- Comfortable performing physically demanding work throughout the day.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as needed.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow directions and work safely in an industrial environment.
Preferred Qualifications- Construction or demolition experience.
- Experience working in manufacturing, industrial, or commercial environments.
- Familiarity with material handling and job site safety practices.
