The Medical Billing and Coding Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate and efficient processing of patient billing information. This position is responsible for verifying insurance claims, maintaining precise coding standards, and managing billing inquiries while adhering to compliance guidelines. The specialist supports healthcare providers by facilitating smooth financial operations and maintaining thorough patient records.

Responsibilities

  • Submit and verify insurance claims to ensure timely reimbursements

  • Generate and manage billing invoices for patients and insurers
