Job description

Ranked the #4 Large Employer to Work for in America and residing in the Top 400 on Engineering News Record (ENR)'s List of Top Design Firms in the nation, TPD is currently hiring Construction Inspectors.
 
Our ideal candidate is seeking to grow their knowledge on highway, roadway and bridge projects throughout NJ with agencies such as NJDOT, NJTA, SJTA, DRPA, DRJTBC, and/or experience with Local County and State agencies.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Observe construction activities to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
  • Prepare daily reports, quantity measurements and computations. Assist with progress reports and Pay Estimates.
  • Communicate with the Senior Management to assist with meeting the project goals.

Job Requirements:

  • B.S. in Civil Engineering or at least 2 years of prior experience in Construction Inspection through internships or employment required.
  • NICET all Levels a plus but not required. 
  • ACI, NJSAT, TCC, CCTC, and/or OSHA 10 a plus but not required.
  • Able to work overtime, some nights, or weekends as needed.
  • Ability to drive to and from, on, or around a project site during all times of the day.
  • Strong organization and communication skills.
  • Valid Driver's License

Pay Range: $29/hour to $35/hour
