Job description

Job Title: Enterprise Project Manager

Location: Atlanta,GA (Hybrid)

Notes:

Agency: Georgia Department. of Community Affairs (DCA)

Schedule: 8 hours, starting between 7 am and 9 am and ending between 4 pm and 6 pm (with a 1-hour lunch).

Location: This will be a hybrid position with at least 2 days in the office for meetings, updates, and other in-person activities.

Description:

Under broad supervision, manages projects through full life cycle from project definition through implementation of project deliverables. Creates collaborative partnership with all internal and external team members to accomplish the deliverables.
Position Summary

The Enterprise Project Manager is responsible for leading, coordinating, and implementing projects for the software system (Emphasys) that supports the Housing Finance and Development Division s database platform. The EPM will onboard the software for 3 teams within 1 division. Onboarding is ~60% to 70% complete, and we need the final implementation stage, including testing and close-out, for 3 modules (IM&C/Development, Compliance, and Loan Servicing) to be completed. This role is expected to extended to 12 months.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead planning, execution, and delivery of the onboarding of the software
  • Develop and track a project plan, objectives, timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely completion
  • Coordinate teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and priorities, including internal team meetings and weekly meetings with the vendor (Emphasys)
  • Ensure projects comply with federal, state, and local housing finance regulations and program requirements
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
  • Serve as primary liaison between internal and external departments, staff, leadership, vendors, consultants, and external partners
  • Identify opportunities to improve project delivery, efficiency, and processes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university in one of the following areas: Business Administration, Business Management, or a directly related field, or any other combination of education and professional experience that provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job successfully
  • An equivalent combination of knowledge, education, job or internship, training, or certifications that provide the necessary knowledge and skills to perform the job at the level listed successfully may be substituted year-over-year
  • 3 or more years of experience with onboarding software for an organization with proven effective results in management and delivery
  • 3 or more years in leadership working with a project team
  • Proficiency in project management software and collaboration tools, such as Jira
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly
