Job description

Job Summary:
Linder Industrial Machinery Company is recognized as one of the nation's premier heavy equipment dealers providing quality new, used and rental equipment. They are seeking a motivated Junior Network Administrator to support the daily operations, maintenance, and security of their network infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in monitoring, configuring and maintaining LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, VLAN and firewall systems
• Support user account management (Active Directory, email, VPN access)
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, hardware, and performance issues
• Help maintain switches, routers, access points, and related equipment
• Support network security initiatives, patching, and vulnerability remediation
• Document configurations, procedures, and incident resolutions
• Provide Tier 1–2 technical support to end users
• Assist with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes
Qualifications:
Required:
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Networking, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 1–3 years of IT or networking experience (internships count)
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and firewalls
• Familiarity with Windows Server, Active Directory, Hyper-V and Microsoft 365
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
Preferred:
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure) is a plus
• Knowledge of ERP environments (Infor or VitalEdge) preferred
