Role Overview
The NetSuite Functional Consultant provides day-to-day functional administration, process optimization, and operational support for finance and accounting workflows. Operating within a high-growth environment, this consultant bridges business needs and system capabilities across Record-to-Report (R2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Advanced Revenue Management (ARM), and Inventory/COGS accounting, helping to scale systems and address team capacity constraints.
Key Responsibilities

Financial Business Process Optimization
• Support and optimize core financial business processes within NetSuite, including Record-to-Report (R2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Order-to-Cash (O2C).
• Manage and configure Advanced Revenue Management (ARM) and complex revenue recognition schedules.
• Support inventory accounting, Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) tracking, and product costing workflows.
• Partner with accounting, finance, and operational teams to troubleshoot business process issues and implement NetSuite best practices.
NetSuite Administration & Configuration
• Perform hands-on NetSuite functional administration, system maintenance, and module configuration.
• Build, customize, and maintain complex saved searches, financial reports, operational dashboards, and SuiteFlow automated workflows.
• Understand and support NetSuite integrations, data flows, and ecosystem components connected to external business platforms.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
• Work directly with accounting and finance stakeholders to identify bandwidth gaps, address operational pain points, and streamline daily procedures.
• Document system configurations, business process workflows, standard operating procedures, and change management logs.
Required Qualifications
• 7 or more years of hands-on experience in NetSuite functional consulting, administration, and configuration.
• In-depth functional expertise in NetSuite across Record-to-Report (R2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Order-to-Cash (O2C) cycles.
• Strong hands-on experience with NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management (ARM) and revenue recognition rules.
• Demonstrated expertise in NetSuite Inventory Accounting and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) accounting.
• Proven proficiency building and managing NetSuite saved searches, financial reports, KPI dashboards, and SuiteFlow workflows.
• Solid understanding of NetSuite integration concepts, third-party ecosystem tools, and data synchronization patterns.
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior experience supporting high-growth organizations in e-commerce, subscription billing, consumer hardware, or fintech sectors.
• NetSuite certifications (e.g., NetSuite Certified Administrator, NetSuite Certified ERP Consultant, or NetSuite Financial User).
• Experience supporting multi-subsidiary or multi-currency financial environments (OneWorld).
