Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Philadelphia Phillies are offering a postgraduate internship that runs from Summer/early Fall 2026 through the conclusion of the 2027 baseball season (approximately 12 to 15 months, depending on department needs).

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Answer incoming sales and customer service calls related to season ticket packages, group outings, and general ballpark information.
  • Provide in-game service support for season ticket holders, group clients, and hospitality spaces through proactive check-ins.
  • Drive client retention by securing payments from existing season ticket holders and proactively collecting final payments from group leaders.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service through phone, email, text, and in-person interactions with Phillies clients and fans.
  • Assist customers with mobile ticketing inquiries and troubleshoot related issues.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer service emails and sales inquiries.
  • Provide first-class service to premium seating clients during Phillies games.
  • Develop a thorough working knowledge of ProVenue ticketing software, the MLB Ballpark App, KORE CRM platform, and text communication systems.
  • Collaborate effectively with sales and ticket operations team members to achieve sales goals and fulfill customer service requests.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Qualified candidates must be recent college graduates.ย 
  • A degree in Sports Management or Business is preferred.
  • Flexibility to work all Phillies home games and non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with clients and fans professionally.
  • Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a team-oriented work environment.
  • Interest in sales and marketing.
  • Prior phone experience is preferred.
