Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Centralized Intake and school site contacts to support and monitor intern caseloads and address any emerging concerns.
• Participate in continuous quality assurance (QA) and audit processes to ensure compliance with documentation standards, agency policies, and funding requirements.
• Attend programmatic and inter-agency meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities as needed.
• Manage accurate data entry and documentation within the AWARDS electronic health record system to maintain client confidentiality and streamline care.
• Provide clinical assessments and psychotherapy services to clients in both crisis and non-crisis situations, ensuring timely interventions and support.
• Oversee the intern recruitment and onboarding process, aligning candidate qualifications with agency goals while fostering an engaging training environment.
• Ensure a tidy work environment by addressing maintenance or safety issues as they arise, promoting a safe therapeutic space for clients.
• Contribute to the implementation and monitoring of clinical program objectives and service delivery standards.
• Engage in intern performance evaluations, addressing potential corrective actions and documenting outcomes appropriately.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The LCSW will work with a broad patient demographic, offering services to individuals facing various emotional and social challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and familial issues. Our therapeutic approach is tailored to meet the unique needs of each client, utilizing methods that foster resilience and empowerment within the community.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health discipline is required.
• Candidates must be independently licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to relate to clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in providing telehealth services is highly desirable, as remote therapy has become an essential component of our practice.
• Background in clinical supervision or mentorship of interns is a plus, as this role includes responsibilities related to intern training and support.
