Interns provide therapeutic services under supervision, supporting patients and families dealing with medical or mental health issues. This experience is designed to help interns develop clinical skills, gain exposure to multidisciplinary teams, and fulfill licensure requirements. It is a critical step for those pursuing a career as a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, especially in healthcare environments.

As an MFT hospital intern, you can expect to work closely under the supervision of licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (MFTs) or other qualified mental health professionals.
