Job description

Find your calling at Mercy! Position Details:

Location: Mercy Hospital - Oklahoma City (W Memorial Rd)

Shift: Part Time, PRN (as needed)

Overview:

Responsible for pharmacy technician tasks including dispensing, delivering, stocking, compounding, and returning medications. Performs related duties as assigned. Displays leadership skills by completing tasks to highest standard and assisting in other areas as possible. Communicates well with coworkers to provide optimal care to patients. Under the supervision of a Pharmacist, will work on projects and clinical tasks appropriate for knowledge base. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Must be accepted into an accredited Pharmacy School program.

  • Experience: Must have met all the requirements as a P1 student.

  • Preferred Experience: Previous pharmacy technician experience.

  • Licensure: Oklahoma Pharmacy Technician License and/or eligible for Intern Pharmacist License within one year of hire.

  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong communication skills, self-motivating, leader, flexible.
