Sales, Account Manager- Diagnostic Imaging (North Chicago)

As a Diagnostic Imaging Account Manager, you will promote the MR, CT, DXR, and Enterprise Informatics product line. You are responsible for generating sales volume by developing credible long-term relationships with our customers. You will represent Philips by developing and driving key partnerships both internally with Philips Healthcare counterparts (marketing, service, support, education, legal etc.) and externally with customers within the given accounts to drive order recognition and to drive revenue recognition against a set of annual targets.

Your role:

  • Research target opportunities, generate account leads, and develop long term objectives for success at the account anchored to meeting critical customer needs.
  • Build a Business Plan that supports achievement of your Quota, aligned with the objectives of the Sales Plan and balanced selling.
  • Create and establish early and cross modality penetration while building long term relationships and maps of all key decision makers in the relevant businesses while creating solutions and planning for the achievement of them.
  • Translate the identified solution for the opportunity into a value proposition and create a pricing strategy to support the proposition.
  • Create comprehensive customer profiles and effective customer acquisition or retention strategies.
  • Capability to uncover and develop the customer's decision criteria, analyze competitive offerings and influence the decision criteria to their advantage.

You're the right fit if:

  • You have a Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • You've acquired 2+ years of hospital sales experience and/or direct clinical experience. Medical capital sales experience, preferred.
  • Your skills include having the ability to work with prospects to develop strong relationships/business solutions, etc.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Sales position.
  • You're a results oriented, high energy, balanced, "take charge" individual with a hunter mentality.

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers' or suppliers' locations.

Philips Transparency Details

Total Target Earnings is composed of base salary + target incentive. At 85% to 120% performance achievement, the Target Earning potential is $187,000 to $260,000 annually, plus company fleet/car. Total compensation may be higher or lower dependent upon individual performance.

Target Earnings pay is only one component of the Philips Total Rewards compensation package, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. Details about our benefits can be found here.

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position. For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Chicago, IL.
