Job description

Manufacturing company with a position at 35 Acorn Road, Branford, CT has an opening for an individual interested in production control supervisor/ data management

The individual will be responsible for:

  • Insuring that production conforms to work instructions within the BLE work cell; 
  • Coordination of all production and shipping  for the work cell;
  • Ensuring production meets scheduled time-lines;
  • Taking month end inventories for the work cell;
  • Making sure next job scheduled for production has direct and indirect materials available as well as any job documents required;
  • Ability to understand complex manufacturing processes involving data collection and processing;
  • Tending to daily needs of production;
  • Troubleshooting problems within the work cell;
  • Performs daily transfer of IoT data to customers;
  • .Downloading EPC codes from customer as required;
  • Ensures that the encoding of labels in production falls within the defined range;
  • Responsible for accuracy in the uploading of data to customers’ cloud based databases on a daily basis;
  • Responsible for reconciliation for phama products on a daily basis;
  • Ensures all reconciliation is done prior to QA inspection for shipment; and
  • Ensures that all paperwork and electronic processing of data for RFID and IoT is accurate and complete prior to quality inspection for shipment.

Position will cross train with production planning, customer service and project managers. Quality training is a plus.
