Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Welders for projects located in or around Spokane, WA.ย  This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $28/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Welder and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!ย 

Job Scope:ย ย ย ย ย ย ย 

  • Weldingย materials (mild steel, stainless steel, and occasionally aluminum) based on blueprints
  • Inspecting welded parts to ensure quality and adherence to blueprints
  • Setting up and operate welding machines, including turning on equipment and adjusting settings
  • Operating forklift as needed
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Communicateย quality or machinery issuesย to management as they arise
  • Other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of MIG welding experience
  • Ability toย read and interpret blueprints
  • Proficiency in shop mathย and problem-solving skills
  • Ability toย work independentlyย or as part of a team
  • Ability toย determine material types and gauges
  • Attention to detailย and strongย written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up toย 30 lbsย and frequently lift/move up toย 50 lbs

Preferred:

  • AWS D1.1, D1.6, D1.2 certifications
  • Ability to use shop toolsย (grinders, band saws, calipers, plasma cutters, oxy-acetylene torches)
