S.T.E.A.M. Teacher K-8STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) Teacher to inspire and engage K-8 students in a dynamic learning environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop and deliver comprehensive curricula that foster curiosity, critical thinking, and hands-on problem-solving skills across multiple disciplines. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in STEM subjects, creative instructional strategies, and a commitment to nurturing student growth through inquiry-based learning.
Duties- Design and implement engaging lesson plans that integrate science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics concepts aligned with curriculum standards.
- Develop innovative instructional materials utilizing the latest learning technologies to enhance student understanding and participation.
- Facilitate classroom activities that promote active learning, collaboration, and critical thinking among diverse student populations.
- Conduct assessments to monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt instruction accordingly.
- Mentor students through project-based assignments, laboratory experiments, dissections, and scientific research initiatives.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive, inclusive learning environment conducive to exploration and discovery.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, extracurricular programs, and school-wide initiatives focused on STEM education.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree or higher in Education, Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics), Mathematics, or related fields; advanced degrees preferred.
- Design and implement an engaging, developmentally appropriate STEAM curriculum for K-8 students
- Facilitate hands-on experiments, engineering challenges, and creative problem-solving activities
- Integrate technology and digital tools into instruction
- Foster a classroom environment that encourages curiosity, collaboration, and innovation
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to support cross-curricular connections
- Manage and maintain STEAM lab materials, equipment, and safety protocols
- Showcase student work through projects, presentations, and school events
Pay Range: $43430 - $81367. annually
