Job description

Mujin is the future of industrial robotic systems in production and distribution environments. Our technology gives robotsย perceptionย and awareness, enabling them to take on more advanced tasks. Our aim is to revolutionize the use of robotics within industry to free human resourcesย fromย labor-intensiveย tasks to focus on more intellectual challenges.ย 

This internship is ideal for mechanical engineering students or master's students in other disciplines who have completed a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. The focus will be on AutoCAD and SolidWorks design for components and systems.ย 

Under the guidance of experienced Mujin team members,ย the internย will have hands-on exposure to a variety ofโ€ฏprojects and tasks.ย This immersive experience will help interns develop practical skills, gain industry insights, and build a professional network.ย 

Internship will run January 11th- April 23rd.ย ย 


Key Responsibilities:ย 

  • Assistย in the design and development of mechanical components and systems using AutoCAD and SolidWorksย 
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to create detailed technical drawings and 3D modelsย 
  • Support the development of prototypes and testing ofย new designsย 
  • Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedbackย 
  • Maintain and update design documentation and project filesย 
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and standardsย 

Qualifications:ย 

  • Currently enrolled in a mechanical engineering program or aย graduateย program in another discipline with a completed bachelor's degree in mechanical engineeringย 
  • Proficiencyย in AutoCAD and SolidWorksย 
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and practicesย 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailย 
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environmentย 
  • Strong communicationย skills, both written and verbalย 

Preferred Skills:ย 

  • Experience with robotics or automation systemsย
