JOB TITLE: Manufacturing Engineer
LOCATION: Archbald, PA
PAY RATE: $53.65/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Support all aspects of circuit card assembly, including:

    • Component forming

    • Pick-and-place equipment

    • Solder printing

    • Hand soldering, wave soldering, and selective soldering

    • Conformal coating

    • Automated optical inspection (AOI) and X-ray inspection

  • Program and support assembly equipment used in production

  • Develop and improve manufacturing processes and work instructions

  • Support production floor activities, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement efforts

Requirements:

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance (not required to start)

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field

  • Prior experience in all aspects of circuit card assembly (PTH & SMT)

  • Experience with industrial/manufacturing engineering tasks (including internships or project work)

  • Hands-on manufacturing experience in CCA environments

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment

  • Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications

  • Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma, root cause analysis, and corrective actions

  • Knowledge of industry standards: IPC-610, IPC-620, J-STD-001

  • Ability to manage cost, quality, and schedule in manufacturing

  • Experience with production work cell setup and facility layout changes

  • Strong analytical skills for problem-solving and process improvement

  • Experience creating/modifying work instructions, shop floor routers, and BOMs

  • Experience with 2D/3D modeling tools (AutoCAD, CREO) for tooling/fixturing design
