The Job:

As the Americas Distribution and Logistics DC System Strategy Director, you will be responsible the strategy and execution of the WMS systems, interfaces, Autostore, and automation across the Stanley Black and Decker Americas network. If you thrive in complex environments, enjoy solving operational problems at their core, and want to make a visible, enterprise-level impact, this role is for you.

You'll get to:

  • Own and execute the WMS and systems long term roadmap and backlog prioritizing what matters most to the business. This includes automation and all systems supporting distribution center operations.
  • Drive system enhancements that directly improve service, productivity, and cost
  • Ensure WMS capabilities fully enable best-in-class operations
  • Lead resolution of complex, cross-functional operational and system challenges
  • Dive deep into issues by connecting data, process, and system behavior to drive root-cause solutions
  • Bring clarity and direction in a multi-system, multi-site environment
  • Identify and execute high-value improvements configuration, process, and integration
  • Support system upgrades, implementations, and transformations
  • Push the organization toward simpler, more scalable, and more standardized solutions
  • Translate business needs into clear system requirements and ensure they get delivered

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, logistics, business, or other related field is required.
  • Prior experience with WMS Legacy, Infor, Blue Yonder, Autostore, DC Automation Systems
  • Strong understanding of warehouse processes and KPIs.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze business processes and recommend system-driven improvements.
  • Skilled at communicating between technical and operational teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills.
  • Valid Driver's License and physical ability to travel up to 50%
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications; Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
