Site Reliability Engineer
Fairfax, VA

Key Responsibilities:
ICR is seeking a site reliability engineer to grow our team dedicated to building our government customer’s mission critical systems. We are seeking talented engineers focused on the whole production stack and making systems that a wide range of mission and external customers are using. Candidates should possess strong technical expertise in one or more programming languages and be familiar with agile development methodologies.
Ideal candidates will also demonstrate a commitment to collaborative problem solving, observability first troubleshooting, and quality is essential. You will work closely with other engineers to ensure systems are both innovative and reliable, supporting complex operations and meeting stringent customer standards.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Active Top Secret security clearance with SSBI and SCI eligibility. - US Citizenship is required.
  • 3-5 years of non-internship professional experience designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting distributed systems.
  • 2-4 years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
  • Familiarity with GitLab pipelines, Containerization and Kubernetes.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills and a sense of ownership.
  • Experience with Linux/Unix based operating systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) field.
Salary Range: $110,000 - $130,000 (annual)
