The Opportunity:

West Liberty University is seeking a Supervising Dentist for our Dental Hygiene Program. This staff position will be on campus at West Liberty University one day per week. The successful candidate will be passionate about teaching and dedicated to supporting and mentoring students in their educational and career pursuits. Our Dental Hygiene Program, accredited by the ADA Commission on Dental Accreditation, offers both Associate and Bachelor's degrees in Dental Hygiene.

Essential Responsibilities:

    • Clinical supervision
    • Patient diagnosis
    • Consultations
    • Student instruction and evaluation in a clinical setting

    Education & Experience Requirements:

    • Must have a DDS/DMD degree
    • Licensed or eligible for licensure in West Virginia
    • Private practice experience working in conjunction with a dental hygienist providing periodontal and preventive dental hygiene care is preferred.
