We're looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Hardware Test Systems Designer to join our growing engineering team. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and performance of customer products by designing and implementing comprehensive test strategies, leading test efforts, and mentoring junior team members. This work includes all aspects of design such as test system, hardware, and software. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical skills and a passion for quality.
What you'll do
  • Take ownership of designing manufacturing test systems to validate customers electronic products in a production environment. This work includes all aspects of design such as test system, hardware, and software. You may work independently or within a team of engineers to create manufacturing test systems.
  • Translate product requirements documents into test plans with explicit pass/fail criteria
  • Design and develop automated test strategies to validate electronic products
  • Design test systems, associated hardware, and source test equipment 
  • Develop HW test solutions including test automation scripts, operator GUI and data analysis using software languages such as Python, LabVIEW, C/C++, Teststand
  • This is not a Software Verification/Test role
What you'll need to get the job done
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or Electronics' Technologist
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience developing functional test equipment and manufacturing test solutions for electronic and electromechanical products
  • Experience developing and implementing automatic test equipment (ATE) hardware and software
  • Good understanding of PCB design, manufacturing, test strategy planning methodologies, and design rules for DFT
  • Able to design, prototype, test, and document complex solutions, analog & digital assemblies for manufacturing test
  • TestStand development and programming experience
  • Programming skills in Python, C
