About the Role
The rapid advancement of Large Language Models (LLMs) and Agentic AI architectures has accelerated the adoption of artificial intelligence across multiple technical disciplines. Aerospace, Autonomous Systems, and Defense are beginning to leverage these technologies to accelerate and reduce the cost of the R&D lifecycle from concept to operational capability.
Skydweller is seeking an Intern to support the development of Agentic AI capabilities within a safety-critical aerospace R&D environment. This role focuses on building an AI agent prototype from the ground up, providing hands-on experience with core agentic AI building blocks-from architecture and tool integration to implementation and testing.
Student Requirements
  • Interns must be currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate students at an Oklahoma college/university, or CareerTech students concurrently enrolled in college-level coursework.

Qualifications
  • Graduate or upper-level undergraduate student in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
  • Proven experience with Python programming
  • Prior participation in R&D projects, especially in the fields of Aerospace, Meteorology, Applied Physics, or simulations is a plus.
