About the Job: We are looking for a skilled data/software engineer with strong expertise in genetic knowledge management, data engineering, and software development to support and expand our comprehensive genetic knowledge bases. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and build curation tools for a proprietary clinical insights knowledge base, playing a key role in integrating this information into clinical diagnostics workflows. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in the industry.

Experience: Proficiency in programming languages. Experience with ETL processes, data management, and data sharing in genomic and clinical contexts, particularly with next-generation sequencing data. Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server and database management systems.

Strong understanding of database architecture, design, and optimization. Experience with DevOps practices such as unit testing and CI/CD is a plus. Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment. Execute and optimize data ETL processes and data engineering tasks.

Develop user-friendly interfaces for data curation and maintenance tools in collaboration with end users. Enhance the efficiency of data and knowledge workflows to support internal data analysis, interpretation, and clinical reporting in daily operations. Design and implement data models and software frameworks for effective storage and processing of clinical insights.

Monitor and optimize database performance, ensuring high efficiency and reliability. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team including geneticists, bioinformaticians, software engineers, and IT professionals in a regulated clinical diagnostics setting.
