Job description

This position is located at a Region 6 Forest Service Office.
These positions provide technical resource information support with the integrated database systems, including the Forest Service Activity Tracking System (FACTS) and other localized databases.

For more information on the qualifications for this position, visit the Office of Personnel Management's General Schedule Qualification Standards.

Note on Experience: Your resume must clearly document the following for each block of work experience; the beginning day, month and year the work assignment started and ended; the hours worked per week; position title, and series and grade if applicable; and description of duties performed. Specialized Experience Requirement:
GS-09: Applicants must have one year specialized experience that is equivalent to at least the GS-08 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as three or more of the following: Oversaw the management, input, manipulation, retrieval, and reporting of data from a natural resource database system; and/or Assisted customers with natural resource geospatial products, maps, and data products; and/or Researched and problem solved to assist customers in natural resource databases; and/or Ensures resolution of errors and ensures accuracy of natural resource database data.
