For individuals seeking an unpaid non-instructional internship hours (e.g., occupational therapy, school counseling, clinical experiences for administration certifications, etc.)
Who is eligible to earn internship hours?
Individuals who have been approved by their University Preparation Program may request internship hours. Requests are reviewed and approved by the appropriate district department and HR. Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) must be submitted to HR for review and execution before an internship begins. Candidates will need to provide the HR department at strategicstaffing@kleinisd.net with a program contact for the MOU review process.
How will I receive confirmation about my placement?
You will receive an email confirming your placement.
Will I have to do a background check?
For the safety of our students and staff, all guests will be required to complete a background check. The background check will be completed by the HR department prior to placement confirmation.
