Heal And Align Physical Therapy is actively seeking an experienced and dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at our outpatient clinic located in Kaufman, Texas. Work Environment

Our facility, located in the heart of Kaufman, Texas, offers a comprehensive rehabilitation setting where our dedicated team works together onsite to provide individualized care. Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at our clinic, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough evaluations and assessments to identify patients' physical impairments, pain levels, and functional limitations.
  • Creating and implementing personalized treatment plans that focus on orthopedic recovery, addressing the specific needs of each patient.
  • Utilizing hands-on techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises, to facilitate healing and restore function.
  • Engaging patients in active rehabilitation by guiding them through tailored strength, balance, and flexibility exercises.
  • Educating patients on effective injury prevention strategies, optimal movement mechanics, and at-home exercise regimens to support their recovery journey.
  • Documenting and tracking patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and orthopedic specialists, to provide coordinated care and ensure a holistic approach to health.
  • Maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensuring that all clinical documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from a range of orthopedic conditions, including musculoskeletal injuries, postoperative rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. You will work closely with diverse patient demographics, from athletes to seniors, all seeking to regain their mobility and functionality. By employing compassionate care and advanced therapeutic techniques, you will significantly contribute to their well-being and quality of life.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role will possess:

  • An active Physical Therapist license in the state of Texas.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, with a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) preferred.
  • At least two years of experience in orthopedic outpatient therapy, though new graduates with relevant clinical rotations are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong foundational skills in manual therapy and therapeutic exercise.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and collaborate with the healthcare team.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is advantageous.
Preferred Experience
