• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments of patients to identify their emotional, psychological, and social needs. Develop tailored treatment plans that reflect best practices and evidence-based interventions.
• Utilize specialized therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adapting them to the unique circumstances of each patient within a hospice setting.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary treatment team, incorporating feedback and expertise from psychiatrists, nurses, and other mental health professionals to enhance patient care.
• Engage in regular case consultations and peer supervision meetings, committed to continuous learning and improving patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families about mental health issues related to end-of-life care, treatment options, and available community resources to support their journey.

As an LCSW at our Hospice Center, you will primarily work with terminally ill patients and their families, who require not only medical assistance but also emotional and psychological support. Your expertise will be crucial in helping them cope with grief, loss, and the complexities associated with palliative care. You will foster a respectful, empathetic atmosphere as you guide families through decision-making processes and provide them with crucial resources.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is mandatory.
• A valid license to practice as a Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, particularly in hospice, palliative, or end-of-life care settings, is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in solution-based psychotherapy methods and techniques that can be employed in a hospice context.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients, family members, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Proven problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills, vital for navigating complex emotional landscapes.

• Experience working in hospice care or similar environments.
• Knowledge of community resources available to hospice patients and their families.
• Previous involvement in training or mentoring junior staff or interns.

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
