A financial institution in New York is seeking a detail\-oriented and motivated Junior Clerk to join its Operations Group. This role is ideal for candidates looking to build a career in banking and financial operations while gaining hands\-on experience with settlement processing, reconciliations, reporting, and data management.<\/span>
<\/p>Responsibilities<\/span>

  • Perform daily system opening and closing procedures.<\/span>
    <\/li>\n
  • Initiate and monitor automated data entry processes.<\/span>
    <\/li>\n
  • Execute manual data entry with a high level of accuracy.<\/span>
    <\/li>\n
  • Monitor intraday cash credits and debits and communicate updates to relevant teams.<\/span>
    <\/li>\n
  • Perform daily reconciliations for custody accounts.<\/span>
    <\/li>\n
  • Execute end\-of\-day operational activities.<\/span>
    <\/li>\n
  • Process and review sanctions screening alerts.<\/span>
    <\/li>\n
  • Prepare data files for system imports.<\/span>
    <\/li>\n
  • Prepare coding tickets for static data maintenance, including system holiday table updates.<\/span>
    <\/li>\n
  • Support monthly and quarterly settlement operations.<\/span>
    <\/li>\n
  • Prepare and distribute daily and monthly reports.<\/span>
    <\/li>\n
  • Assist with other operational and administrative tasks as assigned.<\/span>

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.<\/span>
