Interns will receive training servicing electric drive trucks and/or electric shovels and will be evaluated for nationwide full-time positions. Service Technicians are responsible for the maintenance, diagnosis and repair of Komatsu construction/mining equipment, including electric drive trucks, electric shovels, and excavators. Interns will receive training on equipment maintenance, instrumentation and control systems, machining and welding as part of the on-the-job training portion of their internship.
Komatsu will consider any active duty member that is eligible for the DoD SkillBridge program however, Service Members with maintenance and/or skilled trades (electrician, machinist, welder) job experience are preferred.

Job Overview
Through the SkillBridge Service Technician program, Komatsu is assessing interns for the following potential nationwide full-time positions:

• Service Technicians
• Instrumentation & Control Technicians
• Electricians
• Machinists
• Welders

Internships start monthly based on service member availability and chain of command approval. Komatsu will provide trainees with transportation to internship location, lodging and meals. Qualifications/Requirements
To be successful in this role you will need to meet the following criteria:

• Must be a current Active Duty Servicemember
• Must be separating from the Military in 8-12 months
• Must be able to complete up to a maximum of 120 days SkillBridge internship
• Must be able to complete 40 hours per week
• Willingness to learn and accept developmental feedback
