System Administrator, STE Mission Support

Make an Impact Where It Matters Most

At Intelliforce, we support mission environments where uptime, performance, and technical precision matter every day. In this role, you will help keep critical STE systems stable, secure, and ready to perform. You will work across Linux administration, network troubleshooting, storage support, and containerized environments to strengthen the infrastructure mission teams rely on.

What Makes This Opportunity Stand Out

This role is a strong fit for someone who likes being hands-on in the environment, solving real infrastructure problems, and keeping systems moving without unnecessary drama. You will work across Linux systems, Cisco networking, NetApp storage, and Kubernetes-based environments, which means the work stays technical, practical, and varied. Your impact will be easy to see because the systems you support are directly tied to mission execution.

At Intelliforce, your work is visible and your contributions matter. Because we support prime programs, our teams stay close to meaningful mission work with real momentum. Because we are a small business, leadership is accessible, communication is direct, and strong technical ownership gets noticed. Add in long-term stability, strong benefits, and a people-first culture, and this becomes more than another system administration role. It is a chance to support infrastructure where strong engineering makes a real difference.

Here’s What Your Day-to-Day Could Include

• Administer and support Linux-based systems in a mission environment
• Use Linux shell commands and scripting to automate tasks and improve efficiency
• Troubleshoot Cisco network configurations, commands, and connectivity issues
• Support NetApp filer configurations, commands, and storage troubleshooting
• Help sustain Kubernetes and containerized environments
• Work across system, network, and storage layers to keep infrastructure stable and responsive
• Partner with technical teams to resolve issues quickly and maintain mission readiness

Minimum Qualifications

Clearance: Top Secret Clearance with Polygraph, must be active. We do not have the ability to sponsor clearances
Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen. We cannot sponsor visas
Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and 10 years of relevant experience, High School Diploma and 15 years of related experience.
• In-scope polygraph within the last 7 years
• Experience supporting Linux systems, network infrastructure, and storage environments in a technical operations setting

Required Skills

• Strong Linux experience
• Proficiency in Linux shell commands and scripting
• Knowledge of Cisco network configurations, commands, and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of NetApp filer configurations, commands, and troubleshooting
• Kubernetes and containerization experience

Desired Skills

• Experience supporting mission systems in secure environments
• Ability to troubleshoot across system, storage, and network layers
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Comfort working in fast-paced operational environments

Compensation Range: $131,000.00 - $168,000.00
