Job description

The IT Security Administrator is responsible for the monitoring, configuration, and administration of organizational security solutions. This position requires strict adherence to organizational strategies, policies and guidelines for overall network, server, cloud, and application security. This is a highly motivated, results-driven role and requires attention to detail and sense of urgency to achieve business objectives.

Position Responsibilities may include:

• Assist in the internal/external audit process, including gathering documentation and responding to audit inquiries.

• Support the Incident Response team in identifying, documenting, and mitigating security incidents.

• Monitor and report on cyber security threats and vulnerabilities under the guidance of senior team members.

• Assist in vulnerability remediation efforts, including patching and configuration updates.

• Help enforce company security policies to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems.

• Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices.

• Contribute to the development and delivery of security awareness training for employees.

• Perform administrative tasks, such as maintaining security logs, updating access controls, and managing security tools.

• Participate in ad-hoc security projects as assigned.

• Perform additional projects/duties to support ongoing business needs.
