Job description

Saratoga Medical is hiring a Registered Nurse - Radiology (RN) in Bethesda, MD. The compensation package includes competitive pay and flexible contract work opportunities.

Saratoga Medical is seeking a Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized nursing care in a radiology setting. The selected candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support safe and effective diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in Nursing appropriate to the specialty
  • Current unrestricted RN license in at least one U.S. state, territory, or commonwealth
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification if required
  • Minimum of one (1) year of Radiology or related specialty nursing experience within the preceding three (3) years
  • Ability to meet all credentialing and compliance requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing radiology procedures
  • Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Assist with diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient care
  • Educate patients and families regarding procedures and follow-up care
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
  • Monitor patient safety and quality standards of care
  • Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
  • Perform additional nursing duties as assigned
