Job Summary:
CACI International Inc is seeking a Software Tester to support their client in Chantilly, VA. This role involves defining and developing test standards for IT products, reviewing complex test specifications, and coordinating integrated testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข The ST defines and develops test standards for the testing of information technology products, equipment, or systems in accordance with company and contractual requirements.
โ€ข The ST reviews and evaluates complex test specifications, test results, test trends and implements corrective action as needed.
โ€ข The ST is responsible for determining optimal approach to testing complex products or solutions to assure compliance with applicable specifications.
โ€ข This includes identifying and recommending product or solution characteristics that optimize their ability to be tested or to provide test data for diagnostic purposes.
โ€ข The ST combines customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledges technical, schedule and cost constraints.
โ€ข The ST develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for completing systems.
โ€ข The ST coordinates integrated testing activities, reviews, and evaluates test requirements to ensure completeness of test program, performs technical analysis of complete systems and prepares comprehensive system level evaluations.
โ€ข Responsible for ensuring that all tests are conducted in a proper and orderly manner.
โ€ข Must also be able to motivate test team members and keep them on track.
โ€ข Stay abreast of emerging and changing software technologies design practices to provide solutions that are leading edge, competitive and cost effective.
โ€ข Establish expected standards for quality assurance and communicate them to the entire test team.
โ€ข Provide feedback to testers setting quality standards and helping improve their work.
โ€ข Develop test automation strategy for projects in AGILE methodology.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and 5 โ€“ 7 years of related experience.
โ€ข Active and current TS/SCI with polygraph
โ€ข CompTIA Security+ certification
โ€ข Experience in Agile environment
โ€ข Experience in Scrum
โ€ข Experience in Automated testing
โ€ข Experience in Security testing
โ€ข Experience with MS TFS
โ€ข Experience with Zap (security testing)
โ€ข Good organizational skills
โ€ข Good leadership skills
โ€ข Good project management skills
โ€ข Good negotiation skills
โ€ข Good people management skills
