Come join us!The Injection Molding Process Technician plays a key role in ensuring efficient, high-quality production by setting up, operating, and optimizing injection and compression molding machines. In this hands-on, technical position, you'll monitor processes, make adjustments, and troubleshoot equipment to maintain peak performance and meet production goals. As a technical leader on the floor, you'll also help train and mentor team members, supporting a smooth workflow and contributing to a collaborative, high-performing manufacturing environment.What you will get to do:· Set up, operate, and calibrate injection and compression molding machines, including installation of molds and auxiliary equipment.· Perform machine adjustments, troubleshooting, and process improvements to ensure part quality and optimal performance.· Conduct routine maintenance, cleaning, and inspection of molds and machines.· Sample materials, try out molds and dies, and monitor cycle times to maintain productivity.· Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely to move raw materials, molds, and finished products.· Train and support technicians, production associates, and operators on processes and equipment.· Create and maintain accurate process documents, machine settings, and production data.· Collaborate with quality control and support departments to address defects, tooling issues, and corrective actions.· Assist with shift transitions and communicate key information with supervisors and team members.· Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency, reduce scrap, and enhance overall operations.· Maintain organized molding storage areas, cabinets, and documentation.· Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.What you'll bring to the role:· High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in plastics or manufacturing preferred.· 2+ years of experience in injection molding setup and processing.· Strong knowledge of injection molding machines, tooling, and auxiliary equipment.· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.· Familiarity with quality standards and troubleshooting techniques.· Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.· Ability to work independently and in a team environment.About Us:Nordic Ware is a leading manufacturer of high quality and innovative kitchenware products.
