Job description

REO Plastics, Inc. is seeking an experienced Process Technician to join our production team. This role is responsible for overseeing the sampling of new and existing molds, supporting process improvements, in a fast-paced injection molding environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in establishing quality control specifications for new molds
  • Diagnose molding and process issues and recommend corrective actions
  • Research and implement new or improved processes
  • Complete required documentation accurately and timely
  • Maintain cycle sheets used in production
  • Ensure sample tickets are completed properly and on time
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge of plastic injection molding methods, processes, and procedures
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Computer literacy required; experience with production monitoring software is preferred
