Job description

Maintenance Technician – Injection Molding 2nd Shift

Keep machines running. Solve real problems. Make an impact every day.

We’re looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support our 2nd Shift injection molding operation by keeping equipment safe, reliable, and running at peak performance. In this role, you’ll troubleshoot, repair, and maintain molding machines and related equipment—playing a critical part in minimizing downtime and supporting production.

If you enjoy diagnosing problems, working with your hands, this role offers variety, challenge, and stability in a manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on injection molding machines and manufacturing equipment
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to quickly resolve equipment issues
  • Inspect equipment daily to ensure safe and proper operation
  • Assist with major repairs and rebuilds as needed
  • Document maintenance activities and communicate issues through the Maintenance Manager
  • Request and coordinate replacement parts, tools, and components
  • Follow all OSHA, safety, housekeeping, and environmental procedures
  • Support production by responding to unscheduled downtime and repair needs

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience maintaining and repairing injection molding machines
  • Background in skilled trades, electrical, mechanical, or technical training (degree or equivalent experience)
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulics, electrical circuits, pneumatics, and machine setup
  • Ability to read and troubleshoot using schematics, blueprints, and drawings
  • Comfortable working on the floor in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Why This Role Is Worth It

  • You’ll work on complex, modern injection molding equipment
  • Your skills directly impact uptime, quality, and production success
  • Variety in your day—no two breakdowns or repairs are the same
  • Stable, long-term opportunity in manufacturing with room to grow
  • Be part of a team that values safety, reliability, and technical expertise
