Internship Program Requirements
  • Education: Currently pursuing a four-year degree with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and summer 2029.
  • Academic performance: Minimum overall GPA of 2.8.
  • Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to and from the assigned work location.
  • Geographic flexibility: Willingness to relocate to an ADM location in North America.
  • Availability: Must be available for a 12-week internship from mid-May through early August 2027.
  • Background check: Successful completion of a background check is required.
  • Work authorization: ADM is unable to provide work visa sponsorship for this position.

Job Summary
ADM is seeking a proactive and motivated Human Resources Intern to join our team in Clinton, IA. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in HR operations (manufacturing) while supporting the North American Operations (Manufacturing) team. This role is ideal for individuals who are comfortable in a dynamic, plant-based environment and eager to develop as an HR generalist.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist with day-to-day HR operations, including hiring, onboarding, training, payroll, and compliance with labor laws
  • Support employee assessments and maintain updated welcome and onboarding documentation
  • Respond to employee inquiries related to wages, benefits, time tracking, and company policies
  • Maintain and organize HR files to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
