Your Key Responsibilities
  • Work in different departments of the organization to gain practical experience in the course of an academic education as an undergraduate.
  • Gain hands-on experience and understand different operational functions in one designated department.
  • Contribute to team projects by conducting research, compiling data, and creating presentations.
  • Assist with daily administrative tasks, such as data entry, document organization, and scheduling.
  • Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Prepare and present reports summarizing learning and contributions during the internship.
  • Provide support for manufacturing area and related support functions
  • Daily Scheduling meetings and activities with Production Leaders
  • Verify capacity and demand risks, highlighting and communicating constraints
  • Updating SAP Material Masters
  • Communicate with external suppliers
  • Monitor deliveries from suppliers for assigned materials and updating SAP
  • Planning - Creation of releases and EDI transmission to Suppliers
  • Monitoring inventory levels, react accordingly to min and max
  • Support inventory and cost reduction activities
  • Analyze MRP run and determine demand
  • Order management including purchase orders, production orders to tool centers and scheduling agreements with suppliers of assigned materials
  • Provide consumption reports as needed
  • Other activities/projects as assigned
Your Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled at a post-secondary educational institution in Logistics and/or Supply Chain Management program
  • Solid knowledge of computer applications and software
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel and MS Office
  • Ease at math and problem solving
  • Some flexibility with working hours
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Basic knowledge in SAP
  • Consistent and effective planning abilities
  • Disciplined, organized and attentive to detail
