Operations & IT Intern

River Valley Community Bank – Yuba City, CA

River Valley Community Bank (RVCB) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Operations & IT Intern to support both our Operations and Technology teams. This internship offers hands-on experience in banking operations, enterprise systems, and IT support, with an emphasis on application management, system functionality, IT reporting, and technology-driven process improvement.

What You’ll Do

This role provides broad exposure to both banking operations and IT systems, with an emphasis on developing technical and analytical skills.

IT Systems & Application Support (Primary Focus)

Assist with support and maintenance of internal banking applications and systems

Support system testing, upgrades, and change management processes

Monitor application performance and assist in identifying improvement opportunities

Collaborate with departments to understand system usage and recommend improvements

Support data integrity, security practices, and proper system utilization

Operations & Compliance

Assist with account documentation, imaging, and records organization

Support account maintenance reviews for accuracy.

Assist with procedure documentation and updates

Projects & Process Improvement

Participate in operational and technology-related projects

Assist with workflow design, process mapping, and efficiency improvements

Support KPI reporting and basic data analysis

Collaborate across departments to enhance processes and system usage

What We’re Looking For

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field
