Job description

We are seeking interns to join our audit team for the Spring/Busy Season 2027. Candidates selected for this position will gain hands-on experience performing various client work for our external audit groupโ€™s clients, which may include non-profit, financial institutions (including SEC-registrants), employee benefit plan, manufacturing, and a variety of other clients. Internships will begin January 2027 and will end in April 2027.ย 

Looking to earn academic credit for your internship? Snodgrass will work with you and your school on all necessary documentation and requirements.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Perform select sections and steps of the financial statement audit
  • Maintain ongoing communication and keep firm management apprised of fieldwork statusย 
  • Accurately complete various projects and prepare reports/documents for managementโ€™s review, using established firm policies and procedures
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team
  • This internship is hybrid, meaning it will be a combination of remote and in-office work; candidates must be able to be in the office on a regular basis (minimum 0f 50% working in office)

Qualifications:

  • Internship to start during candidateโ€™s junior or senior year of school; candidates completing their masterโ€™s program will also be considered
  • GPA 3.0 or greater is preferred
  • Availability to work a minimum of 20ย hours per week (Monday through Friday); set schedule required
  • Working towards a bachelorโ€™s degree in accounting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized with good time management skills
