What You Can Expect

. Communicatewithbrokerssupporttimelyandaccuratereleasesto ofshipments;andensureaccuratecountry of origin,

. HTS classifications and valuations are assigned and declared to Customs.Communicate and respond to government agencies, including Customs, Census Bureau, and other PGAs.

. Handleinternal self-assessment and post entry auditsfor U.S. Custom entries, as well as other import programs, including CTPAT.

. TheImportsAnalystwill supportthe development of importprocess documentation, includingprocedures and SOPs.

. The role willalso work closely with other Marvell teams in other countries to ensure proper import process, including Canada imports.

What We're Looking For

The Imports Analyst will actively support Marvell's import compliance activities, with a focus on ensuring U.S. imports procedures are followed. The Imports Analyst will play an important role on the Global Trade Compliance Team ensuring smooth entries of shipments into the U.S. and support shipments around the world.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in business, supply chain management,logistics, engineering, or a related field and

  • 3 to 5 yearsof experience in trade compliancewith a focus onimport compliance matters.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Ability to understand and interpretand applyU.S.Import regulations

  • Experience and ability todetermineHTS Classifications, assign correct Country of Origin anddeterminetheappropriate valuefor imports

  • Ability todevelop anddocument procedures and processes

  • Experience and knowledge of Customs Entry Declaration process

  • Communicate clearly with brokers and government agencies

  • Duty mitigation procedures

  • Experience withEntry Process Audit, Post Entry Auditand Post Summary Corrections

  • Ability to make solidindependentjudgmentsand determinations

  • Experience with ACEand CTPATportal

  • Experience with application of Trade Agreements

  • Customs Broker's license desired

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

70,490 - 105,600, $ per annum

The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
