Interns may also experience challenges in finding affordable, short-term housing close to the job site and managing transportation logistics. To prepare, it's helpful to connect with your employer or other interns for housing recommendations, research public transit options, and review local welding regulations or safety standards. Proactively planning your move and seeking support from your internship coordinator can help ensure a smoother transition.
