Job description

Veraxx Engineering Corporation, a By Light Company is an engineering services company supplying modeling, simulation, and training solutions. Services include hardware, software, and system engineering, requirements assessments, system development, integration, testing, documentation, and customer support services. Veraxx has a high level of expertise in flight simulation hardware and software development, as well as computer architecture, tactical environments, interoperability (HLA/DIS), avionics systems, and real-time embedded systems.

Veraxx is the OEM for the Marine Corps aircrew flight simulation interoperability network and tactical environments. Veraxx has just won several long-term contracts to develop and upgrade domestic and international flight and aircrew training systems. We are currently looking for a Simulation Technician Intern.

Duration of internship June - August.


  • The intern will be given hands on tasks and will participate as a part of the team
  • The intern will gain practical experience electrical & mechanical assembly & troubleshooting, including lab setup, cable labeling, rack buildup, and cable manufacturing, hardware QA, technical documentation, and facilities modification

  • HS Diploma
  • Ability to work as a member of a technical team to complete complex software and systems projects
  • A strong interest and curiosity in electrical and mechanical assembly, AutoCAD, and avionics
  • Self motivated team player with a strong desire to learn

  • Candidates must be able to receive a DOD clearance
