These internships offer exposure to a fast-paced, innovative environment and the chance to contribute to solutions that improve health outcomes. Health tech startup interns also learn about the unique challenges and opportunities in digital health, often working closely with founders and multidisciplinary teams.

What types of projects and learning opportunities can interns expect at a health tech startup?

Interns at health tech startups typically engage in a variety of hands-on projects, such as assisting with product development, supporting user research, or analyzing healthcare data. The fast-paced startup environment encourages interns to take ownership of their work, collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, and often interact directly with founders or senior leaders. These experiences provide valuable exposure to both technology and healthcare sectors, allowing interns to develop practical skills and gain insight into the challenges of innovating in health tech. Interns can also expect to participate in regular team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and may have opportunities to present their work to the wider team.
