Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (Orthopedic & Spine - Interventional Pain) - New Graduates Accepted

Fair Oaks (Sacramento), CA
Job Type: Full-Time | Onsite Only

Job Overview

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a high-volume, interventional orthopedic and spine practice in the Sacramento area. This role is open to experienced providers and new graduates with strong interest in procedural and interventional medicine.

Physician-led training is available for candidates without prior pain management or interventional experience (training period at a reduced pay rate until competency is achieved).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform patient evaluations and physical exams

  • Identify candidates for orthopedic, spine, and interventional pain procedures

  • Assist with and/or perform procedures (based on training), including spine injections and nerve blocks

  • Manage follow-up visits and ongoing treatment plans

  • Diagnose and treat musculoskeletal, orthopedic, and spine-related conditions

  • Review imaging reports (X-ray, MRI, CT)

  • Maintain accurate EMR documentation

  • Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff

  • Educate patients on procedures and treatment plans

Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program

  • Active, unrestricted NP or PA license (required before start)

  • Interest in orthopedics, spine, or interventional pain

  • Prior experience in orthopedics/spine/pain preferred but not required

  • Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

Compensation:
