Job Responsibilities and Requirements

TheFamily Practice Physicianwill be responsible for the assessment and treatment of all medical needs of Family Practice assigned patients /team. TheFamily Practice Physicianis also responsible for performing preliminary assessments and/or consults in addition to ongoing follow-up visits of the patient's and familys emotional, social, spiritual and environmental needs and coordinates care so that patients or family members receive needed supplies, treatments and interventions to alleviate the physical, psychological, social and spiritual pain.

Additional responsibilities for theFamily Practice Physicianinclude:

  • Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
  • No rounding
  • No admitting
  • No nights
  • One weekend a month on call office only
  • Board Certification in Family Practice required
  • Current Florida Medical License required
