What You'll Do
Hands-On Learning: Support the design, development, and testing of electrical systems.
Electrical Support: Assist with wiring harness design, component sourcing and troubleshooting of power systems.
System Integration: Work alongside mechanical and design engineers to integrate electrical systems into vehicles, considering space and weight constraints.
Prototyping & Testing: Help build prototypes, conduct bench and on-vehicle tests, collect data, and recommend improvements.
Documentation: Create and update wire harness schematics, wiring diagrams, and test reports to support the engineering team.
Collaboration: Partner with electrical technicians and multidisciplinary teams, gaining exposure to real-world engineering processes.
Continuous Improvement: Contribute ideas to refine designs and improve performance while developing your own technical skills.
Required Qualifications
Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related technical field.
Basic understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals (analog/digital circuit design, microcontrollers, power distribution, controls systems, programming)
Familiarity with Github, DMMs, and Oscilloscopes is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Valid driver's license required.
Effective communicator, able to work well in a team setting.
