Student Design Assistant

OHTECH | OARnet Engineering Team-JM
OARnet is seeking a detail-oriented student in design, visual communication, or art for a paid OSU student internship position. The student designer's primary responsibilities will be to build and maintain visual communication diagrams and art for internal and external audiences, predominantly using Adobe Illustrator and templates.
The designer will use Illustrator templates to translate engineering sketches into diagrams and to build art as needed.
The ideal candidate has a genuine enthusiasm for informational graphics and an interest in technology and learning new subjects. Organization, consistency, and conscientiousness are important attributes for the position.
This position allows students to work a flexible schedule and develop Illustrator skills.
Education/Experience Required
  • Working knowledge Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop as well as Microsoft Excel.

Additional Information:
  • This position offers employment throughout the year, including the summer months and academic breaks, optionally.
  • Work schedule: Flexible during business hours 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday-Friday
